Works for extracting images but still awkward
I used it to extract images from a pdf (NOT for converting pdf pages to images), and that’s what it did. However, the output is somewhat awkward as it creates a subfolder for each page even when there is no image on a page (!). That would not be a fundamental problem as you can open all subfolders in Mac OS X at once (by option-clicking the folder’s triangle), but then you cannot copy or drag these images because they are all named 1.jpeg — aaahhhrggg! This should be easy to fix, so that at least each image has a unique filename, ideally based on the parent pdf.
I gave it 3 stars only because it is free — otherwise I would have given 2.
No frills PDF to image
It would be great if there were more options, like resolution. But overall, its a free app that converts PDFs to Images. Does what it says for free. Can't complain and am thankful for it.

What a great utility! Very easy to use, converts PDF to JPG in a secoond.
