Unsavory new practices disenfranchise riders
This app has been my go-to and has made work across town far easier, but the most recent update removes predicted time for drivers to get to you. In addition, the addition of Didi Flash ensures that unless you are willing to pay exorbitant prices during peak times, you will be given drivers far away. This terrible combination of cash grabs seriously affect the service for all but those with a lot of time or money, which reveals Didi’s priorities. Yes, the company will make more money in the short term—but in the long term, droves of customers will move to other platforms. Disappointing for an app I have used for years.
Independent Apple Watch app.
There was a buggy Apple Watch app which can call a cab. I really need a cab app on my watch. Sometime I am at outdoor running and getting late. I need a cab to go back home.
Cannot use foreign credit cards
Despite what App claims, they do not accept foreign credit cards. After an hour with customer service they said get WeChat because foreign credit cards don’t work. Customer service was not helpful at all, final advice “was check again tomorrow” as if that helps when you need a ride today.
Endless loop…you need to prepay because you have a foreign credit card, because it’s a prepay you cannot use a foreign card…
Most of app is in Chinese so filling out information is difficult.
