Boza represents an invigorating strain of popwise reggaetón that draws significantly on R&B flows and dancehall vibes, all of which appear prominently on Ella. The title track revels in its breezy island groove, while “No Sé Qué” adds a layer of emotional fog to the mix. Closer “Por Ti” rounds things out with a minimalist dance-floor twist akin to what one expects from the Afrobeats scene, another indicator that Boza is here to stay.
