Superwoman Valerie Danault woke early, ready to tackle another big day at work. But as she is rushing through breakfast, her six-year-old son Thomas notices lice in his hair.

All Valerie wanted to do was sleep. And sleep. And sleep some more. After no contact for almost a week, her ex‐husband Eric and his boyfriend Kevin are worried.

Valerie agrees to go to a crisis center where she sleeps for seven straight days and refuses any professional help. After a week Valerie feels rested and ready to reclaim her life.

Valerie has an appointment with the police ethics committee to discuss the complaint she filed against her arresting officer, Simon Phaneuf. Simon is ready to apologize to the crazy lady just to get the whole thing over with.

Since Valerie’s life no longer revolves around her career, she has plenty of time on her hands. Her social life is non‐existent and cleaning closets by herself eventually gets boring.

Valerie puts her house on the market and organizes an open house. Madeleine is taking care of Thomas, who has been psychologically prepared for what it means to move.
