Has an excellent balance of shop talk, reviews and industry critique.

An undiscovered gem of a podcast.

For years I was disappointed with the quality of videogame podcasts. A few months ago I discovered an excellent podcast called ‘Directional’ on 5by5, and they recommended 'UP UP Down Down’, and I’ve been listening ever since.

This podcast has two knowledgeable hosts, and they always have great guests. The best thing about this podcast are the topics. They cover all aspects of the industry, including all the major players past and present.

It’s nice to have a podcast that goes beyond the latest news and rumors.
