Democratic congressman Adam Schiff got a rude introduction to San Francisco’s reputation for car burglaries yesterday when thieves broke into his car while it sat in a downtown parking garage.

San Francisco Mayor London Breed has a new plan for cracking down on crime in the Tenderloin.
