Episode 1 | The Letter
In 1899, Dr. Emily Goodwin (Bonnie Bogovich) is summoned to the home of Andrew Ballard (Carter Calahan), an old flame. With help from the local coroner, Arthur Darrows (Josiah Robinson), she begins investigating the history of the Ballard family and its possible connection to the harrowing events plaguing the New York countryside.

Episode 2 | The Stranger
As Emily (Bonnie Bogovich) and Arthur (Josiah Robinson) try to help Andrew (Carter Calahan), matters are complicated by the arrival of a menacing Pinkerton detective (Ethan Goff) determined to pin the murder of John Ballard on the Ballard family's only remaining heir.

Hits every mark it aims for
The podcast seems to aim to hit the stride of an older style gothic horror. It manages the whole of it, the drama, the tension, the abrupt ending all alongside a quality voice cast. A good use of time as well, the story feels a pinch over-short, but doesn’t bloat itself to fit a prescribed run time.
