In 1980s East Berlin, Lina, a trans femme nightclub performer, spends her days preparing for her sets at a local nightclub, Das Neue Reich. During a drug-induced dream, Lina envisions an opulent club in West Berlin. She must perform there, even if it means crossing the Berlin Wall.
