She has worked in reality television, documentary film and has worked for the NFL for many years! Erika and Jodi discuss navigating the industry as a female in a male dominated profession, the pros and cons of freelancing, developing a healthy work/life balance and how the evolution of technology has affected the film industry, especially in the camera department. This episode shares a lot of the ins and outs of working in television and film!

Michael and Jodi talk about their beginnings in the industry, how Michael helmed the wildly popular Food Network series Chopped, the joy of creative problem solving on set, the different positions Michael has held in the industry and the excitement of beginning a new chapter of his career.     On this episode of Storytellers: Behind the Scenes Jodi is joined by three incredible female filmmakers, Phuong Nguyen, Suzi Nash, and Diana Hull. The three of them came together through the Philadelphia Women's Film Festival @thewomensfilmfestival and are motivated to raise the voices of female, non-binary and marginalized groups. After working together for a few years with the film festival the three decided to form an all female production company based out of Philadelphia, Three Left Handed Women @3lefthandedwomen.  Together they help tell and lift up stories that inspire and incite change.  Jodi dives into each guests start in the film industry, how they got their start with the Women's Film Festival, what inspired them to create their own company and what projects they are currently working on.
