Join me and my class for PART THREE of "The Great Debate: Creationism vs. Evolution" Biology. My dream since 2009 has finally come true! Well, sort of! I was able to write, develop, and teach the first ever NCAA-approved "Origin of Life" course at LCA, Liberty Christian Academy.  The students defended the Biblical position while I "attacked" their beliefs and position using some common secular arguments.

Of course, my goal was to help them establish a foundation based on reason and logic rather than just reciting Bible verses (which should be enough anyways!) Another focus is to emphasize the secularists often do not even acknowledge the Bible as having any authority; therefore, we tried to stick mostly to 'scientific arguments', aside from my occasional intentional attacks to attempt throwing them off their game!

The students defend the evidence for the Biblical position that macroevolution (Darwinian evolution) is NOT a feasible position, but microevolution is something that ALL scientists agree does occur! Michael Morris, LCA Bible instructor, serves as our debate host for this event!

The debate features three parts:

Part One- Astronomy (Big Bang Theory vs. Biblical Creationism)
Part Two- Geology (Uniformitarianism vs. Catastrophic Plate Tectonics)
Part Three- Biology (Macroevolution vs. Microevolution)

The students defend the evidence for the Biblical position that our geological phenomena can best be explained by Noah's Flood (Gen. 6-8) and the uniformitarianism position (held by most secular scientists) is not observable nor feasible.

Did you ever have an NES? I got my first video game console for Christmas 1988, and Super Mario Bros was the main title I spent my time attempting to master. Nintendo has always had a special place in my family's past, and I am forever grateful for the memories made.

(SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!! SPOILERS!!!) IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE, PLAN TO DO SO, AND DO NOT WANT THE RESULTS SHARED WITH YOU, THEN LISTEN TO OUR PODCAST EPISODE AFTER YOU HAVE WATCHED IT!)

We took our family to watch the new "Super Mario Bros. Movie", and it was AMAZING! Very few movies today do not have subtle and/or obvious "woke garbage" in their films. This one was special, and we had a blast!

Enjoy some music from the past, the Bracewell kiddos sharing their favorite movie moments, and of course, some Biblical applications! John 15:13 is our main passage we view as a main concept from the movie.

Have you ever been taught the idea that mankind and monkeys are related? Of course, you have! If you have ever watched a 'science' program or almost any kind of entertainment relating scientific concepts, Darwinian evolution has a firm grasp on the creators of that content. Dr. Horstemeyer joins us for another episode where he describes much of the background behind the so-called "monkey-to-man" evolution with various examples as to the complicated history behind these fossils. He also shares his conversation with the late Dr. Carl Sagan (former host of "Cosmos") when he was a young Ph.D. student and researcher.
