2024 Federal Budget: Capital Gains Tax increase for individuals.
The 2024 Federal Budget proposes to increase Capital Gains Tax for personal assets from 50% to 66% (2/3) on capital gains of $250,000 and more. For capital gains taxes under $250,000, the current 50% tax on capital gains remains the same.
In this video, I provide examples of how much these additional taxes may be for you and provide solutions to pay for this tax bill.
