And great characters & writing.
A clever and refreshing take on the superhero genre
I didn’t know what to expect from Second Fiddles, being a new podcast, but the more I listened the more I was drawn into the characters and their backstories. Sarcasm, puns, parody, and quippy humor are abundant and well-balanced with the seriousness of character relationships, feelings, and anxieties that are sure to resonate with listeners who have ever felt like they played second fiddle personally or societally. The writing is creative, real, and smirk-inducing.
I look forward to more seasons of the show for more LOL moments, and to see how the characters and their powers evolve. And who doesn’t love a good pun!?
