And for me

I love Jane Eyre and love the steampunk additions which are seamlessly integrated into the original and fit so well with its Gothic tone. The narrator is excellent. Looking forward to future chapters!

Was this made for me??

I read and fell in love with Jane Eyre in high school and have been meaning to reread it. I was so pleased to find this version; I love the fantastical twist steampunk gives to this story! It just checks all my nerdiness boxes. :)
I also think the marriage of Hinduism and Christianity was an in expected choice but well done! It allowed me to engage with the religious themes in Jane Eyre with new eyes.

Fantastical

An enjoyable listen! I love and prefer the original, but this is a fun adaptation. It stays true to the book only embellishing on some altered descriptions.
As a believer in God, and an admirer of Jane’s faith, I personally could have gone without that part being touched.
