How to get MAXIMUM VALUE from ANYTHING

How to get MAXIMUM VALUE from ANYTHING

ON COACHING | In today’s episode of On Coaching, we explore one of the first questions we ask during a coaching session - how do we create maximum value for our time together today?

Joseph King Barkley, President of the Meta Performance Institute for Coaching is joined by fellow Novus Global Executive Coaches Demore Barnes, and Dr. Jennifer Tharp to explore that very topic. In this conversation, they dive into how to extrapolate your maximum value from all of your internal desires and what can get in the way of that discovery. This includes a deep dive into the concept of full participation, important distinctions between consulting and coaching, what you can do when your answer to this question is “I don’t know”, how to avoid avoidance, and much more.

We ask this question regarding maximum value, so we can be fierce advocates for our client’s full participation in finding themselves, their goals, and their dreams. So as you listen, start thinking about what it is that you want the most.

Let Your INNER GENIUS OUT with Pat Lencioni

Let Your INNER GENIUS OUT with Pat Lencioni

META PERFORMANCE SHOW | On this episode of the Meta Performance Show, Jason Jaggard is joined by Founder and President of the Table Group, Patrick Lencioni.

Patrick is in the business of building better leaders. In 1997, he helped found the Table Group as a consulting firm for small Bay Area companies to improve their organizational leadership. Today, Patrick and the Table Group are leading a movement to make strong organizational health a reality in companies everywhere. Through his work, Patrick is the bestselling author of 13 books including his newest “The 6 Types of Working Genius”, which have sold more than 8 million copies and have been translated into more than 30 languages. The Wall Street Journal has once called him one of “the most in-demand speakers in America” - he has addressed millions around the world at Leadership and Development events, and hosts the Podcast “At The Table”, where he sits across the table from some of the foremost experts in leadership and business.

In their conversation, they discuss the early days of the Table Group and how Pat turned Steve Jobs down to work at Pixar so he could instead start his own venture. Later on, Pat walks us through his 6 Types of Working Genius as outlined by the term WIDGET in his newest book. There's a great assessment to learn which letters you are, we highly recommend it for you and your partners at work… or your partner at home. We also dig into Jason’s favorite book of Patrick’s, “The Motive”, which talks about how to deal with the drift in and out of a reward-centered leadership mindset, and the five behaviors you need to change to level-up your leadership.

If you’re interested in taking the assessment to find what your types of Working Genius are, you can find it here.

Be sure to check out all of Patrick’s written work on Leadership, especially the two we discussed today, “The 6 Types of Working Genius” and “The Motive”. You can also find Patrick’s speaking page here, and you can listen to Patrick’s Leadership Podcast, At the Table wherever your Podcasts are found.
You can listen to the Global Leadership Podcast that Jason recorded with Patrick on Apple Podcasts or Spotify

How Coaching Can Save You MILLIONS with Chris Ramsey

How Coaching Can Save You MILLIONS with Chris Ramsey

YOUR FINEST HOUR | On this episode of Your Finest Hour, Novus Global Chief Expansion Officer David Miller sits down with Senior Vice President of Operations at Denso, Chris Ramsey, and his Novus Global Executive Coach, Deb Foy.

DENSO, and Chris, are driven by two missions: Carbon Neutrality and Zero Traffic Fatalities by 2025. I think you’ll agree those are huge goals, and Chris is a walking testament to the work and dedication that is being put into those causes every single day. I’ve seen it myself as I had the opportunity to tour one of their facilities and train a portion of their team

This is a unique episode, as Chris not only took advantage of an executive coach for himself, but then made the decision to spread the gift of coaching through his entire team. And if you’re looking for tangible results, Chris credits this move for eliminating unnecessary overtime on his team in just six months saving DENSO millions. It’s an example in a long list of incredible results Chris and his team created, we can’t wait for you to hear it.

From Garage to $1.2 BILLION Business with Jamie Kern Lima

From Garage to $1.2 BILLION Business with Jamie Kern Lima

META PERFORMANCE SHOW | On this episode of the Meta Performance Show, Jason Jaggard welcomes New York Times Bestselling Author Jamie Kern Lima to discuss her newest book, WORTHY.

Jamie’s story is so amazing, it’s almost unbelievable. She started a cosmetics company, It Cosmetics, in her garage and went on to sell it to L’Oréal for over $1.2 billion dollars. And at the peak of having it all, she found herself wondering, “is this it?” That started her on a journey from self-confidence to exploring self-worth and its ability to take you places nothing else can. If you’ve ever struggled with self-doubt, felt like you don’t have what it takes... or that who you truly are isn’t enough, even if you’re really good at hiding it from the world, WORTHY is for you.

In today’s conversation, we discuss why she decided to donate all author profits from the sales of this book to charity, the difference between self-confidence and self-worth, how to change your relationship with failure and rejection, and why building unshakable self-worth raises the proverbial ceiling in every aspect in your life. We also tease that a certain host of this podcast is featured in the book - after you read it we want you to tell us where you found me.

I always get so much energy from speaking with Jamie, and her energy for WORTHY is very apparent as we talk about this essential book.

Be sure to pick up WORTHY wherever books are sold!

Insightful and applicable

Listened to a handful of episodes and recently subscribed because I found the series extremely insightful. The topic range is great and each episode leaves you with helpful and applicable takeaways. They def break through the clutter and sound like they're always having fun exploring these topics.

LOVED your newest episode!!

I’ve been a long time listener but first timer commenter and just have to say that I was incredibly inspired by the most recent episode: “Honoring Your Word, Recognizing Blindspots + the Financial Costs of…” The importance of honoring one’s word is something that must be discussed in order to maintain one’s integrity. If you are wanting to listen to this podcast but need a place to start, I highly recommend starting with this episode.
