Dante in a Year is dedicated to sharing Dante’s Divine Comedy with a new generation of readers and listeners in honor of the 700th anniversary of Dante’s death. We will be using my new translation of the Comedy, beautifully illustrated by sculptor Timothy Schmalz. Along the way we will periodically hear from artists and scholars on why Dante remains relevant today. To support the podcast as a sustaining member of our community, see below!https://www.buzzsprout.com/1741491/support

A Great Resource
Just the thing I needed to spur me on to finally tackle Dante. A real pleasure to listen to and after each episode I can go back to the translation (available on Amazon) to linger over the text. Looking forward to each episode.
