A solid one
Some star trek podcasts take themselves too seriously but this one is fun and chatty and has a fun vibe.
I listen to it to go to sleep and it's the right mood for that
It's the right mix of commentary of the show/ how it held up/ how it connects to other star treks and summary of each episode
A Different Perspective
I’ve been a lifelong Star Trek fan, starting TNG when it first aired, when I was six years old. I watched it with my uncle who grew up on TOS. Trek means so much to me, and I’m glad to revisit DS9 with the hosts. Like TNG building on TOS and taking Trek to a new frontier, DS9 was a radical adaptation at the time: a more realistic view of interstellar politics and the lives of a station crew on the edge of forever. It really deserves the approach the hosts are taking, focusing on themes and character. I also really appreciate the hosts’ different perspectives on Trek, infusing their thoughtful analysis with love and respect and humor for the material.
