The show for dysfunctional creatives. We are trying to explore what living with ADHD is like, while attempting week by week to create work we love. The creator experience can be incredibly lonely. We want the dysfunctional to feel like they aren't alone in this journey.

In surprisingly candid, wildly unprofessional, and desperately trying-to-be consistent episodes.

7- Why Pushing Too Hard, Slows You Down

7- Why Pushing Too Hard, Slows You Down

There are some incredible benefits of being a creator and putting things out into the world. There are also hidden challenges that often go by beneath the surface.

Jesse and Levi unpack the struggles of facing those challenges head-on at the end of every year, and what it feels like to disappoint yourself over and over. They also explore the challenge of loving oneself and the unhealthy cycle of getting to the end of the year and feeling like they haven't done enough or accomplished what they wanted to.

They also talk about how to navigate creating content, particularly in the noisy world of YouTube, and the importance of overcoming initial technical obstacles in order to focus on creating more engaging content.

Highly recommend!! Definitely follow/Subscribe!

These podcasts are by two absolutely amazing content creators that are not only very good and very unique, but some of the most creative minds on any platform, and in any content! I’ve listened to their podcasts over and over. Like now, i’m about to listen to them again, but felt they deserved nothing less than a positive review. These guys work so hard to teach on and off the screen. So they very much deserve a minimum of a few minutes of my time to leave a review. I am also ADHD, and suffer from it very badly. I normally cannot sit down and write/type this much out. I could say so much more., But the truth is nobody really wants to read a drawn out novel for a review comment. All I can say is, follow/subscribe and listen to them! Make sure you have the notifications on, so you know when they have a new one out! A matter fact, they are the only ones that I do that for.

This is real Life

December 15, 2022 Update: I really enjoy the candid conversations regarding how we relate to each other, our environment, our families and our business relationships. Thank you for having this podcast content available.

Original: Levi and Jesse have candid and open conversations about what it means to be a creator, and share the considerations that go through all of our minds: How do I do something worthy, something I enjoy, and serve an audience that cares to learn more all the while tending to the needs we all have. It’s full of the want to’s, the have to’s, and the giving heart that should be found through it all. Reflections of the story making process. Your own story is meant to be shared. Enjoy!

So relatable

As a fellow creator (video maker) I can say this podcast is the perfect balance of complaining about the job we love and the search for answers in the creative process. I’m resonating with it so much. Keep going!
