Boo to strip malls ,

I googled “Christmas Murder Mystery” and this hit the nail on the head

Great for a car ride on your way to visit family for Christmas. We love you, Nick!

Not great

I tried to get through the story but I lost interest after episode 3. First off the writer was the narrator and I’m sorry to say, she was not good. It sounds like this was her first time narrating and she paused where she shouldn’t, she lost her breath a number of times and her inflections were not good. As to the story, from the three episodes I listened too I felt my mind wondering as I listened. That’s a sure sign there’s not enough there to keep my attention. Hopefully her next attempt will be better.

Was this a high school English writing assignment?

This specific podcast is an example of why not all people that write something should read their work. Narration was very clunky throughout. The writing itself was very elementary. Every hackneyed stereotype was used in this story. The writer used every tired turn of phrase and seemed not to own a basic Thesaurus. Unless you are desperate, there are better holiday-themed holiday podcasts out there. Try those first.
