Distancia de Rescate (Peru/Chile/Spain)
Jonny and Aileen talk about the film, based on the novel of the same name, Distancia de Rescate. The charged relationship between two moms, one a visitor and the other a local, reveals a looming environmental catastrophe and a tale of broken souls. Jonny and Aileen also discuss Peruvian director and co-writer, Claudia Llosa, Argentinian co-writer and author of the novel, Samanta Schweblin, and the possible link of growing health problems in Argentina to pesticides.

Mate-Me Por Favor (Brazil/Argentina)
Jonny and Aileen are sent back to their youths once again with the Brazilian film, Mate-Me Por Favor. In the neighborhood of Barra da Tijuca in Rio de Janeiro, a wave of murders plague the area. What starts off as a morbid curiosity for the local youth slowly begins to spoil away at their lives. Jonny and Aileen also discuss director Anita Rocha da Silveira, the murder case of Brazilian actress Daniela Perez, and the music genre, Funk Carioca.

The First Omen (USA)
In this special ¡Uy Que Horror! episode, Jonny and Aileen discuss watching The First Omen. A young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, but encounters a darkness that causes her to question her faith. They are also joined by writer and director of the film, Arkasha Stevenson, for a conversation on Brazilian legend Sonia Braga, Arkasha's horror influences in the film and the importance of body horror.
The First Omen comes out Friday, April 5th.

She has to ask him for a favor, but doesn't know that calling the dead can bring terrible consequences. I love everything about this show. EVERYTHING. Jonny belting out in a sing song voice with random words makes. My. Day. I’d listen to an entire 2 hour episode of him just singing the entire thing. That’s how much I love it. Every new episode makes me feel like I’m about to hang out with my two horror movie besties and we are gonna pick apart some good Latino movies! Keep em coming!
