The one and only Gilmore Girls AND Buffy the Vampire Slayer podcast brought to you by comedians/real life couple Bryan Morris & Stacey Kulow. Bryan grew up obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Stacey is a huge Gilmore Girls fan, but neither of them have ever seen the other's favorite show. Together they watch their way through both excellent 7-season series, discussing an episode from each show every week, in an attempt to figure out which show is better. Bryan & Stacey are New York-based writer/performers, both born and raised in the Midwest. They met doing improv in Madison, Wisconsin and have been together for over a decade.

Veronica is a super good friend to Meg, who we've only seen once, but barely pays attention to Wallace, who's in the opening credits. Bryan tells a truly wild story from his Panera Bread days, and we're comin' for you, GAIL!

Getting the Part
Firefly Episode 8 "Out of Gas"/Bunheads Episode 8 "Blank Up, It's Time"
Malcom disparately needs to find a part in order to save his crew. Meanwhile Boo receives a part completely out of the blue. We learn that Inara has almost as many rules as Fanny, and that some of both their rules have recently been broken. We learn that Zoë was initially not a fan of Wash, so perhaps there's hope for Boo to come around on Carl. Gadot is not in this episode of Bunheads, but a version of him showed up in this week's Firefly. Stacey learns the word boff, something both Michelle and Kaylee partake in this episode. And we won a trophy in our homeland!

Bunheads Episode 7 "What's Your Damage, Heather?"/Firefly Episode 7 "Jaynestown"
One's a familiar face from Jayne's past, back for revenge. The other's a familiar face from our Gilmore Slayer past, back as a sh*tty plumber, and they both have one eye. Coincidence, Amy!?! It's hard to imagine which smells worse, Fanny's mildewy dressing room, or Jayne's muddy planet. Also which is more disgusting, mudder's milk or that fried food buffet the bunheads consumed. Neither Michelle nor the Magistrate's son feel like grownups, and later both Sasha and the Magistrate's son act out in a big way to get adults to notice them. And Bryan puts his spin on a Olsen Twins classic.

Feeling sad…FOR NOW
I discovered this pod when they were nearly done reviewing both shows, so I had the joy of getting to listen to multiple episodes every week to catch up to live. I’m already feeling sad not having Bryan and Stacey in my ears every day, and I can’t wait for more comic content!
5 Stars for my #1 Pod!
This is my absolute favorite podcast! Once I finally got caught up, and now that Bryan and Stacey are reading/watching the Buffy comics and A Year in the Life, I was curious to hear their initial options about everything again, and I enjoyed the pod just as much the second time around! Bryan and Stacey are so funny, and it is truly a joy to listen to two intelligent and funny people discuss two of my favorite shows. I’m a Buffy fan through and through, a Buffy buff, if you will, so much so that it’s one of the first things I tell people when I’m getting to know them. Meeting Sarah Michelle Gellar is my whole bucket list. But Gilmore Girls is also one of my top shows, and what a stroke of brilliance to pair them! I can’t wait to see what these two come up with next; I will certainly be consuming whatever kind of content they put out.
