    Presenting: Josie's Lonely Hearts Club

    Presenting: Josie's Lonely Hearts Club

Hey there, friends! Next week, we’ll be checking back in with Father Ben and the St. Patrick’s family for our first ever St. Patrick’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival, but in the meantime, we’re excited to bring you the pilot of another show called Josie’s Lonely Hearts Club.

Josie’s Lonely Hearts Club is a semi-improvised audio drama set in the studio of New Mexico’s 3rd-best romantic advice call-in show. On-air, listeners eavesdrop as Josie squares off against top improvisers and her engineer Frank. Each episode’s off-air vignettes chart her journey from melancholy Joanne Holtzinger to nationally syndicated sensation Josie Heller. What results is an often hilarious and surprisingly human show exploring the risks we idiots take every time we fall in or out of love.

Episode 1, Let's Jam it Up, Sluts!
After a terrible speed dating event, Jo and Frank open the lines to talk about first impressions. Are they all they're cracked up to be? Meet a bouncer who can't find romance, test a few pick-up lines with a quirky close-up magician, and find out what it means to be caught in flagrante derowboat.

Good, clean fun!

The characters are compelling, the voice acting is marvelous, and the writing is sublime. Easy to listen to and fun to follow! Excited to see where they take the storyline next! 🙏🏼🙌🏼

David the sociopathic pig 😂😂🩷

Overall a sweet and funny show and very entertaining. But some episodes like the pig episode had me laughing so hard I was crying.

Sweet and entertaining

I am as anti-religion as one could get, but I find this podcast to be warm and engaging. Love the characters and how they can take something simple, make it complex, and then make it simple again.

But I really, really, and really need the arson plot to end.
