I can apply what they talk about every time I listen

The insights that are expressed in these podcasts are huge! I take notes and then look at what I am doing in my teaching and no longer feel alone.

Fresh Approach to Scripture

I really enjoy this podcast, and the fresh way with which the hosts approach the Scriptures. Challenging, edifying, and inspiring, all at the same time.

So glad I found this!

I listen to a number of Christian podcasts, but as an avid Bible reader who has privately studied the Bible for most of my life, I am super-glad to have found this one. I’ve long known of the importance of reading Bible passages “in context” and being literate with the ENTIRE Bible, but this is my first time being exposed to the suggestions of eliminating chapter and verse numbers and considering ordering the books of the Bible in a sequence other than the accepted traditional one. I binge-listened to every episode from the beginning to the most recent and have just completed the most recent episode a day or two before writing this review. I can’t wait for the next episode. The discussions are always illuminating and help shed light on deeper meanings which I had never before considered until hearing the passages discussed in light of the “narrative” context and additional original language and original cultural background aspects which the hosts present. I’m not ready to invest in the (enormously expensive in my opinion) “Immersed Bible” marketed by the hosts, though it is tempting. I will definitely be considering investing in a narrative-style Bible if and when the Immersed or an alternate version becomes available at a more reasonable price point.
