The Success Finder Podcast has been pumping out consistently interesting and surprising interviews for several years now, going back to its original incarnation as The Mastermind Effect podcast. Since its relaunch, the show hasn’t skipped a beat, balancing explicitly raw and real insights from the world of Coaching, to the woes and throws of building a business. This show takes a chainsaw to flaccid social media virtual reality, and instead invites its audience to peel back, and get real. Really real.

TSFP 22 | Are our Accomplishments Real?

TSFP 22 | Are our Accomplishments Real?

Welcome to the Success Finder Podcast! Are our accomplishments really accomplishments if we don't post about it? Social media has good intentions when it was born but it becomes a medium for social comparison. Social media loves the comparison. We're using it to seek feedback instead of gathering knowledge or insight to connect quickly rather than meaningfully. For business leaders, rise above the noise. Here are some things to help you when a client wants to promote their services, connect with their audiences, and grow their social network.
     [00:00-01:29] Social media
Social media was born with the best of intentions. It provides virtually unlimited access and connectivity to our friends, global businesses, media outlets, and information. Association between greater social media use, and higher rates of depression, and anxiety. Most obvious side effect of social media overuse is the tendency for unfair comparison
    [01:30-03:18] Social comparison
Social comparison is a form of sociological self-esteem, where we derive our sense of self, through comparing ourselves with others.        Social media thrives on comparison. Social media becomes a vehicle for validation and comparative thinking.
[03:19-04:37] Rise above the noise as a business leader
Give your clients and community the option to step away from the swirling chaos of social media.  Provide a safe, quiet space, where true honesty, discovery, and growth is possible.Eliminate the option for comparison and promote the option for authentic communication.

TSFP 20 | Listening Over Coaching

TSFP 20 | Listening Over Coaching

Welcome to the Success Finder Podcast! I’m talking to my team and told them if we can have someone else deliver our content or idea. It’s just to have a different voice but the message will still be the same. Just contact me if you are interested to be that someone. In this episode, let’s talk about listening over coaching. Why is it that when we are talking to a coach or a leader in our life, we take the message differently? The best coaches, leaders, or mentors have certain characteristics that help individuals achieve the sweet spot or the moment when the true transformation takes place.
[00:00 – 00:57] Different voice deliver the message
Let's have someone else deliver it and have a different voice.       The message would still be the same, but you'd be hearing it from someone else.if you have a way of reaching out to us, you can message me at brandon@thesuccessfinder.com.
    [00:58 – 02:19] Listening over coaching·
This goes in a lot of different domains, a lot of different arenas, in our personal, professional, in our connectivity life when it comes to listening. Hearing that same message from someone who was a mentor or a coach, a leader in our life and take it completely different The best coaches have a natural gift for helping people The art of listening objectively, and understanding that clients are the experts in their own lives
    [02:20 – 03:37] Different outcomes in coaching
it does not assume that everyone will be equally successful following the same path. The outcome will most likely be different.
[03:38 – 04:44] The characteristics of the best coaches
Coaches are trained to be objective and non-judgmental.A leader can create a space that fosters collaboration, curiosity, and creative problem-solving. Coaches lean on open-ended questions to help their clients meet their own truth
    [04:45 – 05:52] The sweet spot·
When we feel seen, heard, and understood, our brain stops self-protecting and perfecting answers. We can access the situation and come up with the self-governance and solutions that ring true to us.That is the moment when true transformation can take place.

TSFP 18 | Pay Attention To Those Around You

TSFP 18 | Pay Attention To Those Around You

Welcome to the Success Finder Podcast! One of the projects that I'm a part of has a seven-year-old as its lead consultant. In this episode, let's talk about the importance of paying attention to the world around us and to the people in it, regardless of their age.
    [00:00 – 00:22] Some notes I made a few months ago
Something that happened back in January of this yearI found my notes about that experience about how we sometimes miss what's right in front of us and I've decided I wanted to share it with you today
    [00:23 - 02: 16] Missing what's right in front of us
I'm working on a project where our lead consultant is a seven-year-old. Our amazing lead consultant talked about paying attention to our surroundings and other people's emotions and their surroundings. He plays Mario Kart and when someone bought him a big stuffed toy of Shy Guy as a gift, I ended up having to bring it on the plane to bring home to him.
    [02:17 - 3:13] Moral of the story
Learn to listen to people, no matter what their age is. And of course, pay attention to your surroundings.
