    Immigration detention is not a new phenomenon. However, many people are blissfully unaware of these centres, where thousands of migrants are involuntarily held. In this episode, we discuss what immigration detention is, the purpose of these centres and whether there is a need for such a setup. We also discuss what kinds of support can be provided to the detainees whilst they are kept in detention.
