Joining Andy to breakdown and analyze the 1968 George Romero horror classic "Night of the Living Dead" is horror screenwriter J Angel Sierra - "Angel." Angel moved to LA from Texas to pursue a career in film and these two met at The New Beverly Theater - a church for cinephiles.
Angel loves Romero "to death and back" and these two dive into what makes George and "Night of the Living Dead" just so special, important, and continuing to this day to inspire and open eyes. These two also talk about their love of horror and why they gravitate towards it, the power of horror to impact society, and change the world for the better.

This is a fantastic new movie podcast that will appeal to everyone, from the most casual film fan to hardened Cinephiles. Andy is a brilliant and gregarious host with a deep knowledge of, and palpable passion for, the cinematic medium, and he's also an adept interviewer, capable of pulling powerful personal insights out of his eclectic array of guests, who are usually emerging/established industry professionals with unique insider perspectives on this business of show. If you enjoy deep dive film discussions - and I mean DEEP (as in at depths where the pressure can make your diving suit implode) - then The Andy Plex gets my highest possible recommendation. Five stars!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
