Ep.17 Postpartum Bodies & A Body of Art Project with Edwina Masson

Ep.17 Postpartum Bodies & A Body of Art Project with Edwina Masson

This episode has a lovely chat with Edwina, & how the birth of her Son & her own Rebirth, inspired the creation of a photographic movement called A Body Of Art Project.
Edwina Masson is a visionary artist, educator, and more recently postpartum body visibility activist. Up until falling pregnant Edwina was an independent musician pioneering a new path for women in the industry and beyond, via ethereal vocal compilations that weave a melodic modern-day village around life’s sacred transitions.
However, after giving birth to her son via Emergency C-Section and being absolutely consumed by motherhood Edwina’s identity and focus shifted. Edwina was desperate to have something creative that existed for her outside of mothering that still recognized her mothering.
Seeing a lack of representation and celebration of the diversity of postpartum bodies Edwina started photographing her own body in the hopes of unpacking her own self-image issues, shedding the shame she felt and challenging the narrative around birthing bodies having to “bounce back”.
From this “A Body of Art” project was born. ABOA is a week-long photographic journey where you (postpartum body) are the muse and photographer. Its mission is to give birthing people the opportunity to celebrate their body as it is right now in this moment.
Next round of openings is in June date TBA

Ep. 13: Homeopathy: Moving Towards Wellness with Jennie Hoglund

In this episode, Steph introduces you to the Homeopath she has been learning from!!! Homeopathy is FASCINATING & such an insanely supportive wellness modality, that has been around for over 200 years!
    About Jennie:
With an extensive medical background in Laboratory Science, Fertility, and Blood Banking, Jennie is well equipped to understand your illness and symptoms. Utilizing the system of Homeopathic Medicine allows Jennie to help clients find deeper and longer-lasting healing than is often possible with conventional medicine because Homeopathy is able to address the root cause of illness and stimulate a healing response in the individual.Jennie is a graduate of the 4-year Classical Homeopathy training program at Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis, MN, and is now a classroom teacher and clinic supervisor at NAH. She is also an Integrative Provider with Pregnancy and Postpartum Support MN and has a special interest in clients with postpartum mood disorders. To Jennie, there is nothing as rewarding as seeing a client find freedom and happiness through homeopathy. It really works!Jennie’s interest and expertise in coaching have grown naturally over her decade as a homeopath. Seeing a need for deeper, more conscious self-reflection work in herself and her clients led her to learn and eventually incorporate mindset, the law of attraction, and alignment work with clients and seeing AMAZING results with this combination.Jennie has been teaching and facilitating groups for years, and in 2021 completed the ’Thriving Group Coaching’ course with Michele Rae and Teresa Nutt of the U of MN Center for Spirituality and Healing.Website: hoglundhomeopathy.com/aboutIG: @the.enlightened.homeopathFollow Steph @stephdrempel on Instagram - Podcast Produced by @StayWeirdDesignCo

Danielle Whaling ,

Best Spiritual Podcast!!!

Steph’s energy is contagious! She’s 1000% authentic and unapologetically herself. You can feel it through the podcast and her instagram. A lot of healers I’ve come across can tend to say you have to do this or you have to do that. What I love so much about Steph is she’s like this is what works for me and I don’t have all the answers. She’s open about the fact that this is an ever evolving process. I think she’s the first healer that I’ve heard say it’s okay to feel BOTH, to have BOTH and it’s really helped me so much to hear that. Steph will be the best friend in your head that will guide you on your spiritual journey!
