I am no expert by any means of the word, but I don’t believe you need to be in order to help others. My goal is to simply share knowledge & Information. I want other people with Parkinson’s to know they are not alone, that there are things they can do to improve their situation and live a improved version of their life with pd and help them be informed about their Parkinson’s so that they can advocate for their own care and lead more empowered lives. In helping others, I am helping myself. This podcast is me moving outside of my comfort zone and challenging myself to expand my own horizons. Now you might ask why I would want to do that. How can I expect to help others to change and evolve if I am not willing to myself?

    Episode 14 - Christine Jeyachanadran

"Whoever changes one life, changes the whole world;”  -Michele Amitrani
Christine Jeyachandran is definitely changing this world for those living with Parkinson’s. Christine is the author of the Handstand for Parkinson’s Blog, and the creator of the Documentary of the same name as well as the only WPC Ambassador in South America!
In this episode, I had the chance to talk with Christine and hear how exercise has changed her life for the better and how she is using her talents as a filmmaker and rising gymnast to inspire and encourage other people with Parkinson’s to exercise.  We also discuss what it is like living with Parkinson’s in a country like Peru, a country where there are few resources for PWP and there is very little public understanding of the condition and how Christine is working to change that for the better!

Christine Jeyachandran initiated this video project because she knows what it is like to struggle but wants everyone to know that it will make a difference, for the better.
