Christian Stumbling Blocks (the lack of compassion)

Christian Stumbling Blocks (the lack of compassion)

I sat down with my friend Jenelle as she talks about the struggle she had marrying an "unequally yoked" man. The compassion and lack of compassion she received from the Christian body even through the 2nd diagnosis of cancer and eventual death of her husband.

We discuss the lack of compassion we see in the church body and some of its believers. We also talk about the possibility of those stumbling blocks causing someone to stay in Atheism and/or being the cause.

Through it all this experience has left Jenelle with an even bigger sense of compassion towards others in and out of the church.

Fresh take

It’s not often I find a podcast I can really resonate with. I really love the topics and content. Marco is a cool dude, and diving into the topics that tend to get ignored. I really appreciate the fact you guys are talking about hard topics. Even though this is a Christian podcast I feel it is so much more. Keep them coming!

Authentic

Marco brings a unique perspective to contemporary Christian living. His background as a successful professional in the secular Seattle music industry and as a minority growing up in America bring a different flavor to the table from the same old conservative white man narrative. With an interesting variety of guests, he discusses real issues that Christians face for those of us seeking the heart of Jesus every day of the week.
