In today's episode, we have Barat Ellman and Samia Assed again to talk about how women of faith and religion plays a part during the COVID-19.

We address family and community challenges and how to activate our teachings to serve the community and heal ourselves during this time.

Today on Reclaiming Grace I speak on the moment of crisis we are in with COVID-19 and if we are using this moment to truly get in touch with the work of God and the heart of God.

In this episode I reference a series on Netflix called Messiah and the moving scene that depicted the "messenger of God" speaking to people in DC and the Palestinian boy trying to cross of into Israel.

I ask all of you to bravely see yourself in your neighbor and dig deep to remove hatred, indifference, racism and bigotry so we can reflect Christ during and after this moment of crisis.

This episode of Reclaiming Grace I speak about how my life has related to the woman that encountered Christ and washed His feet with her hair, oil, and her tears.

All of us have tears gathered in a jar--- tears of shame, sin, unworthiness, and fear. Yet Christ picks us up and sees us and loves us and God is continuously calling us to show this same grace to others.

Episode 4 of Reclaiming Grace / Whosoever Will Let Them Come talks to the issues of exclusion and inclusion within the faith community across different religions.  Today we speak to Rabbi Barat Ellman and Palestinian/Muslim activist Samia Assed about how they approach social justice work from the lens of faith and religion.  We also discuss how we can work across faiths and identify our connective tissues on the front lines of social justice.

This episode is full of education and much needed perspective from different faiths and honest dialogue about how we have faced challenges and challenge ourselves to see human dignity in everyone and fight for everyone no matter what community they come from or identify with.

In the third episode of Reclaiming Grace, I touch on why it was imperative that I liberated myself from "The Church" , religion, and legalism.

I discuss coming face to face with what that meant for me and my walk with Christ and I also discuss why its so important that other's in "The Church" do the same or we will all suffer and fall victim to fear and indifference while allowing it to overshadow truth about being a true disciple of Christ

The second episode of Reclaiming Grace touches on how our humanities intersect and why we must see ourselves in one another. I also give a personal account of an experience I had with a dear friend regarding sexuality and my journey through bias, hatred, and indifference and how his show of grace toward me turned my life around.
