They discuss Labour's contribution to rights of way access in 1949 and 2000; how having access to the countryside can improve mental and physical well being and the debate over the 2026 deadline to have all rights of way recorded.

This week, we are joined by economist, political scientist, and academic, Dr. Jeevun Sandher, whose work and research focus on the causes and consequences of poverty and inequality in the UK.

In this episode, we spoke to Jeevun about his research and asked him to set out his priorities for how to tackle this country's growing inequality. We also discussed the fallout from the mini-budget and the damage it continues to inflict on the country.  On a more hopeful note, and in light of Labour's record-breaking leads in opinion polls, we reflected on The Labour Party's economic vision and some of the big announcements from conference.
