    Club Idiot, a radio play

    Club Idiot, a radio play

To celebrate reaching 75 episodes, I wanted to release something special in collaboration with my Patreon community. Enjoy this quirky, charming radio play, in the style of an after-school special. Four kids who use a chicken coop for a clubhouse learn how to succeed, support each other, and stand up for what’s right.

Club Idiot is four middle schoolers’ self-imposed punishment for destroying their last
club’s treehouse. Now forced to meet in a chicken coop, they resolve to do something
constructive. They choose to help Jax prepare for their school’s 5K race. The only
problem is that the neighborhood bully Colt is planning to cheat his way to victory over
Jax. The club combines forces with their former leader Bet to secure a victory fair and
    square.

Starring Mark Chamberlin as Kip, Liz Christensen as Jax, Ryan Bruckman as Fin, Janilee Hutchings as Red, Josh Curtis as Colt, Katherine Tietjen as Bet, Jason Wadsworth as Dad, Laurie Ellsworth as Mom, Curtis Kidd as Colt's Brother, and Todd Michael Thompson as Race Announcer Voice.

Sound by Ryan Bruckman and Liz Christensen
Story and Produced by Liz Christensen
Written and Directed by Anthony Buck

    Is Acting Creative?

    Is Acting Creative?

Actor Brandon Green and actress Kate Williams debate whether acting is creative or interpretive. Brandon’s hot take? Acting is perhaps the least creative part of making theatre. If you want to get your acting theory, creative nerd, art philosopher's jam on, then this is the discussion for you.

    Author Becca Rose

    Author Becca Rose

I sit down with author Becca Rose to ask her about cover art, being a female writer of color in the fantasy genre, different pen names, how writing isn’t stressful, and completing a manuscript in a four-day weekend.

Rebecca Roberts ( Becca Rose) was raised in South Pasadena, California. She spent most of her time lost in fictional worlds. Starting with the classics and Shakespeare, she discovered fantasy and paranormal fiction in Middle School and never looked back.
After graduating from Utah Valley University with a degree in English, Rebecca turned all her focus to creating worlds like the ones she grew up with. She lives in Utah County with her two dogs and two cats, who provide emotional support and distractions for when her stories take a turn for the worse.
Check out her book “Elfish: The Windy Adventures,” available on Amazon. It is no secret that Windy is lonely. The only child of a single mom, Windy spends most of her time alone. But when her father shows up to change her life, Windy will do anything to return to her boring life and loving mom.
Thrust into a world of magic, elves, and dangerous creatures, Windy knows she doesn’t belong. Accompanied by her protective shadow and deceptively innocent little sister, Windy sets out across unknown realms in a quest to win her freedom and return home.
