Jimmy Wofford , hero horseman!
Thank you for a wonderful podcast with Jimmy Wofford! I so enjoyed the opportunity to clinic with him in the 70’s & 80’s riding a Nez Pierce Appaloosa . Fun to know his mother had bought him one too! That appy made me one clever rider and Jimmy always had a nice thing to say about our partnership.
Too one sided
I’ve listened to all the episodes and there’s a lack of balance between the interviewer and guest. The guest will speak for long periods of time without any interaction with the interviewer. I thought this would be more conversational like Terry Gross on Fresh Air. And the same question is often asked, “what would you tell your younger self?” Maybe this is intended but without any interjection by the interviewer, some of the guests tend to drone on. The interviewer needs to actively participate in the conversation to keep it from getting too monotonous.
Thank You PH!
I am so grateful for the content and interviews that Practical Horseman produces on their podcast. Not having a ton of time to sit down and read content, your podcasts are such a valuable learning tool on the go for me. The interviews are thoughtful, interesting and educational. I can’t wait for each new one to be released. Thank you so much for doing what you do- please keep it up!
