Cargo (2017)
Cargo is a 2017 Australian post-apocalyptic horror drama film directed by Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke with a screenplay by Ramke based on their 2013 short film of the same name. The film stars Martin Freeman, Simone Landers, Anthony Hayes, David Gulpilil, Susie Porter, and Caren Pistorius. The music for the film was composed by Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu. The plot follows a couple and their baby traveling in the Australian bush in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse.

Night of the Living Dead (1990)
Night of the Living Dead (1990) is an American horror film directed by Tom Savini, featuring Tony Todd and Patricia Tallman in his directorial debut. A remake of George A. Romero's 1968 film, it follows seven strangers surviving in a farmhouse amidst a zombie outbreak. Romero revised the screenplay, originally co-authored with John A. Russo. It's the only official remake due to copyright issues with the source material.

It Follows (2014)
It Follows is a 2014 American horror film written and directed by David Robert Mitchell. It stars Maika Monroe as a young woman who is pursued by a supernatural entity after a sexual encounter. Keir Gilchrist, Daniel Zovatto, Jake Weary, Olivia Luccardi, and Lili Sepe appear in supporting roles. The score was composed by Rich Vreeland, better known as Disasterpeace.

Best Horror Movie Podcast Around
Found these guys a while back while searching for a good discussion on the Alien franchise. I recently saw the new trailer for Alien: Romulus and immediately wished I could ask Chris and Robert how they felt about it. So, I figured it was time for a review. This is by far the highest quality horror movie podcast I have come across. Chris and Robert are two of the most hilarious and insightful hosts I have listened to. They helped reinvigorate my love for the genre and have introduced me to new terms that help me better understand why I fell in love with horror in the first place. Terms like the horror ghetto, gateway horror, horror adjacency etc.
In addition to all the great horror discussion, these two take a lot of time to listen and connect with their community. Chris and Robert have done a great job building an awesome community of people who genuinely have insightful, and sometimes hilarious, things to say.
All in all, The Film Flamers are a great choice if you’re looking for any of the things mentioned above. You will not be disappointed.
Oof.
Why does the one guy laugh during his entire synopsis? I started listening to the predator podcast and the one dude laughed the entire time. Not sure if this is a normal thing but this has made the whole podcast unlistenable.
Horror Honored Honestly
Robert and Chris really care about horror movies and honor them in the best way through this podcast. I love their approach to analyzing the themes, not tearing apart the movies to make themselves look superior, and introducing us to horror gems. Chris always has great trivia about each movie. Robert's laugh is infectious and entertaining. Both a horror connoisseur's and a horror casual watcher's podcast.
