About Wes Mack

Canadian singer Wes Mack’s energized pop-country weaves driving Top 40 rhythms and hyper-catchy melodies with more than a touch of good-time twang. Born Wesley MacInnes in Calgary, Alberta, Mack picked up the guitar at the age of 11. After establishing an acting career on shows like Heartland and Supernatural in his 20s, he shifted focus to music, and his first single—2013’s Carly McKillip-featuring heartland rocker “Duet”—climbed into the Canadian country Top 10, setting the scene for his 2015 full-length debut. Edge of the Storm provided an entry point to Mack’s bold brand of country, blending arena-sized rock hooks (“Before You Drive Me Crazy”) with sweet, summery pop (“The Way You Let Me Down”). In 2018, he leaned deeper into the latter with the flirty, banjo-forward “House on Fire” and upped the party vibe with “PBR State of Mind,” eventually evolving toward dreamier soundscapes in 2019 with the lush Sons of Daughters team-up “Never Have I Ever” and 2021’s romantic “Don’t Change.”
