RosterBuster Crew App 4+

Good app with great support!

Downloaded the app to be able to keep better track of my schedule. The app has nice visuals and is informative once you understand where to find certain bits of information. The support team is helpful and quick to respond. It’s great to see them constantly updating the app, I think that shows their investment in the product! There are some features I wish it would incorporate in the future such as allowing a different choice for flight tracking (flightaware), and providing updated departure/arrival times based on posted delays. It would also be nice to have alerts available based on airport delays due to GDP. Overall a nice app with room to grow, I hope to see it continue to do so!

Updated again. Still unreliable

Can’t even access the app after the last update.
This continues to be the least reliable app I depend upon. QA is almost non existent.
Watch as they see this review and tell me to log a call. In an app I can’t access..

The iPad app has taken an entirely new UI direction that’s nothing like any other app. And that’s not a compliment. The Roster upload is also unintuitive and poorly documented. I gave up on this app a few bugs (I mean updates) ago. Hopefully under new ownership they get the quality and design under control. ————- And it gets worse. Another update; another bug. Can’t even see my next schedule. This app continues to make 2 steps forward and two or e. back. Apple Calendar integration is a disaster. Constantly failing. Hiding any event wipes your calendar. Syncs just stalls now.. I’ve got near constant tickets open; they fix it after a while; then breaks again... enough Instagram posts guys.. More quality dev!!! Sadly gone downhill with major bugs -schedule updates, calendar export not working and taking weeks to fix. If they took all the social media folks off Instagram and onto development perhaps things might get fixed Great App. Very polished. Works perfectly with FLICA & LTP.. .

Roster Loading Glitches and Horrible Support

Half the time, using their Crew Portal roster upload applet, it errors instead of uploads the roster. So then, I have to download my roster from my crew portal on Safari, and use their PDF upload applet. This too gives me an error half the time. I have a 27 remittance email chain with their support team in India and they STILL can’t figure it out. First they went through denial, stating that the app doesn’t support “the file you’re attempting to upload”. I had to point out to them that they have a PDF upload option. “Are you saying you don’t support the very file types you’re inviting us to upload??” Then, once it’s established they have a big problem, they asked if I’d mind sharing my screen with them in some kind of coordinated tech support session. But oh yeah! Since they’re in India, I’d be helping THEM figure out THEIR glitch but I’d have to be up on my day off at 7:30 or 8:00 am to help them. No way! You’re getting paid to get YOUR app right. Not me. You stay late at work. You’re getting paid to do it, not me. I’m done with this app!
