Playback turns your Apple device into a simple, yet powerful MultiTrack player that works seamlessly with the rest of the MultiTracks.com ecosystem of products like ChartBuilder®, RehearsalMix®, and the Church Streaming License®. Link your Planning Center account and have setlists you create automatically appear in Playback. Pairing Playback with our ProPresenter Templates gives it access to pre-made MIDI Cues that perfectly sync lyrics to your tracks.
Playback has been optimized to be the best tracks solution for a worship team. While it has powerful features like automation, custom song arrangements, MIDI in/out, and even support for SMPTE timecode, it’s easy and intuitive for new volunteers.
A Playback Rentals subscription is an easy and affordable way to quickly access the MultiTracks from our ever expanding library of over 24,000 original master recordings. Any previous tracks purchases from MultiTracks.com are instantly available in your Playback library. Already have your own tracks? Upload them to your library with a Cloud Pro subscription so that they can be accessed in Playback.
Playback Sync® automatically scrolls charts in the ChartBuilder app to always match where you are in a song. No extra cables needed since it’s all done over Wi-Fi. This ensures your team is literally all on the same page!

New SMPTE Updates
• SMPTE Bus: Found with the rest of the Bus tracks, this will allow you to adjust the volume of your SMPTE output, as well mute the SMPTE output (best used in combination with automations)
• SMPTE Follow Default Arrangement: With this toggle enabled, SMPTE timecode will be based off of the default song map, with duplicated/deleted sections not affecting the timecode of the surrounding sections. When disabled, SMPTE timecode will be based off of the current song map, as is the standard behavior.

Stability and quality!
We have used a few various softwares to run tracks and the stability and ease of use of Playback is awesome! Haven’t had a single software issue since switching over. The last tracks based software we use had phase issues, dropout issues, couldn’t handle 3/4 and 6/8 songs with markers. Would studder and skip, and it has been awesome to use this an no longer have a service where we are on the edge of waiting for it to fail.
Demoed it at our main campus and have finally began the move to move playback to all of our campuses. Andrew G has been an awesome resource for use to figure stuff out. Answered all of our questions, gave us tips, and has made transitioning to Playback easy. Appreciate you and all your team has put together!
Fantastic for tracks. However, desperately needs normalizing EQ function.
This is such an amazing app for what it does. Our church uses this every Sunday and it is dependable, reliable, diverse in its application. Executed very well what it’s expected to. Links to what tracks have been purchase online sync up really well with no hiccups. Key changes, etc work very well. Splitting click track and guide to in-ears only and the rest out to mains is a godsend. Thank you!
My biggest gripe is how poorly EQ’ed every song is. Is it on the product roadmap to normalize volume on every track? Currently, because every song has different levels, this at times can b come a nightmare to manage with such huge bass swings song-to-song. We’ve had to make sure sound guys take notes for when a volume spike is coming upon song transition. We also have to almost change the eq shape of the tracks channel itself just to account for drastic changes. This can be very challenging on the fly. This is my only reason for the one star off. If you could change this, that would b so helpful for many and five stars all the way! Thanks!

This is a wonderful app, very easy to use and very effective. I would recommend to anyone.
I would love the option to have a click only mode. Say you had an emergency and got of the click and needed to cut the track and bring it back in on the next section, ie chorus. If you hit pause and double tap to cue the next section, the band loses click, if you fade out the click goes, but the song still progresses and you still have to hit the pause button and cue the next section to effectively get back on track. It would be nice to have a way to have click continue through this somehow. Maybe a master click button up top or something.
This would also be great for having click at the end of the song to play background music to after the song has ended.

These are great feature ideas, I will bring it to our product team's attention. As you mentioned, the Fade Out button will slowly fade out tracks and leave the click, which gives you the option of pausing the song and moving to the correct song section before fading the tracks back in, if you absolutely need to. One current solution for the second feature idea would be to add a click track added at the end of a song in the BPM of the song, so that when you're done with the song a click will come back in that you could play along with.
