THEY KNOW WHAT WE'VE DONE…
Cameron Bannister and his group of survivors have endured the fall of their great city, gone searching for what they once believed to be a weapon … but found to be something else entirely. It's something that will decide the fate of all humanity — innocent or guilty — if Cameron can summon the will to start the doomsday clock ticking.
Accompanied by a strange wanderer with a hidden past, they must confront the judgment archive at its new location in the "capital of capitals": Ember Flats, on the former site of Giza, beyond the infamously unpassable wasteland known as Hell's Corridor. But when they arrive, all is not as it seems … and the viceroy, along with the secret society hiding within her government, is keeping secrets that keep the city calm — while unrest boils beneath its skin.
When a double-cross threatens the group's center, only a risky plan might save the species before judgment comes … or bring the walls crashing down as the epoch ends in extinction.
★★★★★ "Platt and Truant take the alien invasion theme, mix in the ancient astronaut theme, add some religion and metaphysics and stir. If you choose to begin reading, hold on to your hat. What comes out is full of unexpected twists and turns that leaves the reader hanging on and asking for more." — Farmboy
★★★★★ "I had a very hard time putting this book down. It takes a left turn when I was expecting a right, and I am really mad at the authors because of all the sleep I lost staying up way too late to read "just one more" chapter. You need to read this series." — Ken Rodgers
★★★★★ "I just couldn't put these books down! Talk about a head trip! Cameron Bannister and his group of survivors have endured the fall of their great city, gone searching for what they once believed to be a weapon … but found to be something else entirely. It's something that will decide the fate of all humanity — innocent or guilty — if Cameron can summon the will to start the doomsday clock ticking." — C. A. Brekke (nee Isabell)
★★★★★ "Judgment is entertaining, surprising, and occasionally even enlightening as questions about humanity's sense of self, sense of purpose, and collective consciousness are visited throughout the novel. I love great literature, I love poetry, and I love a good, solid, fun ride through a sci-fi/fantasy tale that prods me to open my mind a little further to consider some unfamiliar possibilities. Platt and Truant have managed to create just such romp!" — Marcita
★★★★★ "It's a teeth grinding, grab you by the seat of your pants gripping book. Have no doubts, it will be hard to put down and it will grab onto you until the end where you will be saying 'Damn! Now I've got to get book 6 to finish what I started and find out what happens next!'" — Vicki W.
This relentless, page-turning tale of colonization and alien empire is the fifth in the completed Alien Invasion series.

Annihilation
This is a good follow up and a good setup leading to the remaining book in the series.
I found the backstory very good and the characters will
Drawn out and fully engaging. I wonder how significant Clara is to the teaming book(s). Can't wait to read the next one.
Deteriorating quality
The series seems to be deteriorating. They seem to be just filling space, pretending to be speculating about possible ideas but no substance to move the plot forward. Not interesting enough to want to even finish the book, let alone the series.
Invasion series- up to book 5 in just 3 days.
Excellent. Compelling. Binge reading worthy.
