(b) the revelation he had had of the risen Christ, and

(c) eyewitness account of others.

 

He also shows that the future resurrection of believers is based upon the past resurrection of Christ, Who is the firstfruits of those who are to rise from the dead. This resurrection is assured by belief in the gospel of salvation, which is clearly expressed in the opening verses of 1 Corinthians 15, and it takes place when Christ returns, a recurring theme later in the chapter.
