Messiah and His People

In this book Brian Sherring takes the reader through the Bible and the unfolding portrait it paints of the Messiah, the Christ, the Redeemer.

 

He starts off in Genesis 3, where we learn of ‘the seed of the woman’ who is to crush the serpent’s head, and as we progress through time, slowly more and more is revealed about this One.

 

He is to descend from Abraham and be of the house of  David. He is to be born of a virgin and be born in Bethlehem. He is to combine the offices of Prophet, Priest and King.

 

From Ephesians 1 we learn that in the end He is to be ‘head over all things’ and Philippians 2 states He is to have that Name which is above every name.
