Publisher Description

What happens when you start falling for your worst enemy? Fans of Abbi Glines and Monica Murphy will relish this addictive novel of smoking-hot seduction—and revenge gone so wrong, it’s right.

I wasn’t always this jaded. I had a clear head, things I wanted out of life, and a concise plan on how to get there. For being only twenty-one, I pretty much had it all figured out. Until the day my cousin died.

I spent months going over all the details surrounding her death, trying to figure out how I missed the signs, and the only thing I could come up with was she would still be alive if it wasn’t for one person: her professor. So I transferred to his college, enrolled in his class, and set my new plan in motion.

First I’ll seduce him. Then I’ll ruin him. I’ve just got to stay strong and not let his charm and my emotions get the best of me. Because someone has to pay for her death. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to break Noah.

Review: Breaking Noah

Breaking Noah by Missy Johnson and Ashley Suzanne is a stand-alone romance told in dual POV. Alternating between Noah, the hotter than hot and nicer than nice English Lit professor and Zara the incredibly smart yet exceedingly dumb student.

I had a hard time getting invested in these characters, mostly Zara, which is why it was almost a three star (meh, I liked it) read but the times when Noah and Zara where together were electric so it became a four star (huh, I really liked this) read. I think it was my own personal distaste at Zara's revenge plot. There's a few things that I just am not comfortable reading about and this level of revenge she had been planning for Noah was not my own personal cup of tea.

The story was very different, the twists were good (I didn't see most of them coming) and it was an enjoyable read for me. If college level student/teacher relationships are your thing along with grief-ridden revenge plots that ultimately end with the bad getting theirs and the good guys on top (literally) then this steamy read is one you'd enjoy.

Breaking Noah

When you think you know who the villain is and then have the rug pulled from underneath your feet.

The story begins with begins with an interesting hook.

“How is this all going to work? Nobody’s going to understand.”

Authors’ write about the end results of what ones, misguided anger, vengeance for a loved one may lead.
The extremes an individual will do for it.
Even being blindsided by hatred and revenge. What occurs when revenge you once sought becomes deceitful, hidden behind lies and secrets? As I always say, “Never make assumptions because you make an A** out of yourself.” Exactly what Zara did.

“Thanks, Professor Bain, but to be honest, Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books.”

The words Pride and Prejudice sure do describe Zara.

“It’s crazy how things actually work out.” (Noah)

“I’m at a loss. It’s like this girl has jogged through every man’s mind and determined what we all secretly want and she’s using it to her advantage.”

“I might as well go out in a blaze of glory for men everywhere.”

“I think you’d make an excellent attorney,” he says, sipping from his glass. Wow, so this is what it feels like? Having someone other than those who are required to care about you support something you want to do.”

“For a while, I forget that I’m not alone and begin dancing along to Adele’s crooning. Her soulful voice invades my body, and not only do I softly sing the song word for word, my hips sway to the beat of the music.”

When Zara discovers the truth behind her cousin’s Karly’s actions. Blew me away. Plotting and inflicting revenge on an innocent individual when one actually is with the enemy. The scandal that unravels.

Characters feel real and have their own distinctive voice. Incredible plot twists when I least expected it. The protagonists change throughout the story. Characters evolved in a positive way. The plot, pacing, and scenes were magnificent.
Excellent collaboration between authors. When two great minds get together, the end result is priceless.

Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend this book..
