    TSME 163: Rob Fitzpatrick

This was a delightful conversation, and one that made me laugh more than any in recent memory. Rob Fitzpatrick shares the journey from showering under a 5-gallon bucket in a warehouse scheduled for demolition to running a satisficing lifestyle business with $20k/mo in book revenue and a growing community.

    TSME 162: Denis Oakley

This was a delightful conversation with emerging expert Denis Oakley. I especially loved how Denis "got his reps in" by selling business models on Upwork.

    TSME 161: Jonathan Stark Followup

Jonathan suggested a followup conversation; I enjoyed hearing from him about his transition from surfing a once-in-a-generation tech wave to a very different kind of advisory business, his inventory of every nasty email he's ever received from his list, how he runs inexpensive experiments, and the relationship between death and mission.

Thoughtful

In a world of hacks and clickbait, Philip’s patient, curious questions stand out. Episode 146 with David Baker is fantastic.

The best ally you could ask for on your journey. #Ep145

I have been listening to this podcast for almost a year, then I came across episode 145 to kick off 2021. This was the best seven minutes of active listening I have ever had for my career. After what seemed like a few months of a break, I’m glad to have seen this podcast come back. Tremendous, thought-provoking, relevant, inspirational and energizing work! Please keep sharing your thoughts.

So much good stuff here

There's nothing flashy about this podcast, but there's a TON of wisdom and some absolute GOLD NUGGET takeaways. Start with the David Baker episode (mind blowing) then check out the "Move the Needle" series. Great examples of folks who are going it right in the consulting world.

Thanks Philip -- keep on making these!
