Little did the mom know that the little girl had started the whole thing.

Instead of getting curious, the mom got after the other kids.

I want to share some ideas with you on how to help your kids to not be a victim.

#252 How Long Should I Homeschool Each Day?

I received a question on Instagram about why is public school so much longer than a homeschool day?

Why do homeschoolers say they only need an hour or two to teach their children, but a public school needs 6-7?

I am going to be diving into the history of the public school model and why public school days are so much longer.

So Grateful for this Podcast!

I have been listening for almost two years now. I started listening when I was considering homeschooling for our family. The advice given by Meg is so helpful and on days that seem difficult, she provides hope and sound advice that gets me through.😂 She reminds us of the important things and the topics covered are so relatable. I turn to Meg and her podcast a lot and enjoy listening to it so much. It inspires and motivates. Thank you for all you do and for making this podcast. It truly is a blessing. ❤️🙏🏻

Just starting out!

I am currently finishing up my 9th and final year of teaching in the public school setting. This year I started to really feel the call that I should be home with my three children and to top that off my middle child who is in kindergarten was diagnosed with ADHD and is not thriving in the public school environment. When my husband and I made the decision to homeschool I naturally started researching and came across your podcast. I promptly went all the way back to episode one and have started there and have only made it to episode 40 so far. I just want to thank you so much for making me feel like I’ve got this! It is so amazing to see that my family is not alone in wanting these amazing things for our kids. Your podcast makes me feel like I have someone there helping me walk through the process of starting. Thank you so much for your inspiration!
