A personal favorite, with one major reservation
I do really like this podcast and look forward to it after every episode of SNL. I can’t in good conscience give it five stars, however, because one of the two hosts...well, let’s just say a little bit of him goes a long way. 😬 (I won’t say which is which because I’m not mean, and hopefully they are both glass-half-full guys and will quietly assume that the demerit is for the other guy.) Overall though, as a duo they are still pretty darn good.
Sure.
I disagree with a lot of their opinions/taste, and one of the dudes seems like he doesn’t even want to be there… but quality SNL pods with hosts who are actual, knowledgeable fans are hard to come by. So I keep coming back.
I mean, no more
Tapping out. Can’t take an hour plus of non stop starting every sentence with “yeah I mean, yeah yeah, I mean, yeah I mean, I mean...I mean, yeah no, yeah I mean, yeah no, yeah I mean, I mean, yeah yeah, I mean”. UPDATE 10/4/22, thought I’d give the podcast another chance with the SNL (train-wreck) season premiere. Nope. These 2 still can’t speak a sentence without an “I mean” (106 times this ep) or a “yeah”. Typical sentence… “Yeah no, I mean yeah it wasn’t a great sketch. I mean it had its moments”. Other dude….”Yeah yeah, I mean I agree”. Yech!!
