SOFIE HAGEN is a stand-up comedian, author and host of 'Made of Human Podcast' and former co-host and co-creator of 'The Guilty Feminist' and a fat activist. JODIE MITCHELL is a stand-up comedian, improviser and a drag king in the drag king troupe Pecs. She is part of the radical and queer stand-up comedy collective The Lol Word.

Probably fine to just listen to this instead of getting a therapist
I first heard Sofie Hagen when they were co-hosting another feminist podcast around 2016. What an incredible razor-sharp wit. They lay down comedy gold without what sounds like minimal effort. Through this show, I heard Jodie Mitchell for the first - and just wow, they are positively brilliant.
If you're curious about the podcast title and concerned that it sounds a bit strange, you're right. This is show is a wonderfully bizarre journey. It's honestly helped me have a lighter-hearted (but also more insightful) view of my own past traumas.
(Please actually get a therapist if you're able. The title was intended only as a joke.)

Started listening a few weeks ago and am addicted - amazing show with two amazing people!

People always go on about how people like podcasts cause it’s like hanging out with friends— I don’t typically feel that way. None of my real friends have the kind of energy that podcasters typically do (or are as straight and to often male). But with Jodie and Sofie, I always feel a bit like I’m sitting in the back of idk some kind of cool bookstore/cafe/bar coming out to support my friends weekly comedy show. It’s super chill and funny with just the right amount of vulnerability to make it feel like it matters.
