About Amanda Blank

Amanda Blank is a flamboyant rapper from Philadelphia who is closely associated with the group Spank Rock and has ties to the Baltimore club scene. Born Amanda Mallory, she began to establish herself nationally with a guest feature on "Bump," a song off of Spank Rock's acclaimed 2006 album, YOYOYOYOYO. That same year, she was prominently featured on BMORE GUTTER MUSIC, a full-length DJ mix by Aaron LaCrate of Milkcrate Records and Lowbudget of Hollertronix. Her association with Spank Rock was bolstered in 2007 with a guest feature on "Loose" from the BANGERS & CASH EP. She also guested on Pase Rock's "Sexy M**********r" and the Eli Escobar and Doug Grayson remix of Britney Spears' "Gimmie More." Blank eventually signed to the Downtown label and recorded her debut album, I LOVE YOU (2009). In addition to her rapping, Blank is a lead singer in the indie pop/rock band Sweatheart.
