In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Getting my first electric guitar for Christmas and fantasising how i could now go off and explore the music i loved and try and recreate what my ears heard. Years later this would transcribe into defining my own musical voice and writing my own music What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AC/DC, If You Want Blood, You've Got It (Live) D'Angelo, Brown Sugar John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles First time i heard 'If You Want Blood' I had to have a guitar! This kicked my life in music off! 'Where The Light Is' gave me a sense of confidence to sing and write music. 'Brown Sugar' provided a desire to explore production and the art of the beat Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “West Coast Highway” This song was a turning point lyrically and had valuable lessons within the studio in production and writing songs. The methods i learned with this song eventually led to me exploring what my real voice and sound as an artist is.
