Siblings Ysa and Ygo Ferraz prove that the distance from bedroom to stage isn’t all that far. The sister-brother duo may revel in their self-proclaimed tag of making genre-less songs as Ysanygo (a combination of their first names), but their sophisticated pop sound—drenched in reverberating synths and propelled by electronic beats—has touchstones of old-school R&B and hip-hop. And it’s a real family affair: formed in 2017 after a songwriting contest saw them join forces, they playfully match outfits and involve their parents in helping balance high school and gig life.
