Staccato Du Mal

Staccato du Mal is the minimal synth project of Miami, Florida’s Ramiro Jeancarlo, who is also part of the industrial duo Opus Finis. Shades of his industrial background, along with black metal and elements of his half-Venezuelan, half-Chilean heritage, emerge in his music, which he makes with vintage electronic equipment. Jeancarlo released 2006’s full-length Staccato du Mal and the 2007 single L’Armee Des Ombres on his own SDM imprint before signing to Wierd Records, who issued the Desespero single in 2010 and Sin Destino early in 2011. ~ Heather Phares
