About Slut
German indie rock group Slut was formed in Ingolstadt, Germany, in 1995. The group found a home for their melancholy brand of rock and released their debut album For Exercise and Amusement on Stickman Records in 1996, as well as the follow-up, Interference, in 1998. Their major-label debut, Lookbook, (issued on EMI/Virgin in 2001) enjoyed airplay on European radio, and 2004's All We Need Is Silence continued to bank on that popularity. An EP of renditions of tunes from the Threepenny Opera was issued in 2005 and, three years later, StillNo1 became the group's fourth full-length release. ~ Christian Genzel
