About Ocean Drive
Dance music combo Ocean Drive was born in 2008 when two French music producers, Nicolas Carel and Just Uman, happened to meet at a nightclub in Miami, Florida, and decided to collaborate on a recording project. Inviting vocalist Gilles Luka and DJ Oriska into the studio with them, Ocean Drive scored a Top Ten hit in France with their first single, "Some People (Ton Desir)," and their next two releases, "Without You (Perdue Sans Toi)" and "Because (Connecte-Toi)" also fared well on the charts. 2009 saw the release of Ocean Drive's first album, With the Sunshine; in 2010, they issued an English-language version of the song "Some People" featuring vocalist Aytar.
